BORO LAX
Hillsborough High School Boys’ Lacrosse
Est. 1989

The Hillsborough High School Boys’ Lacrosse program (or Boro Lax) has enjoyed a proud history of over 20 years. The program was established with JV and Freshman teams in 1989 and had its first varsity season in 1990.

Currently, the program is enjoying back to back to back double digit win seasons. The team has advanced to the 2nd round of the state playoffs in each of the past 3 seasons.

The past 3 seasons have also produced Hillsborough High School’s Male Senior Athlete of the Year, Luke Dawson (Boro Lax captain and current USMA cadet at West Point), and Hillsborough High School’s Senior Male Scholar/Athlete of the Year, Matt Ziminski (Boro Lax captain and current academic scholarship student at The College of New Jersey).

Boro Lax is committed to creating an atmosphere that fosters academic excellence, dedicated community service, championship lacrosse, and BORO PRIDE!

Boro Lax Right Now!
The varsity roster has 7 juniors and 5 sophomores. ALL of the juniors and sophomores contributed to our success this year. At the start of the 2009 season, we had 4 players with more than 1 year of varsity experience. At the start of 2010, we will have 15 players who are 2 or more year veterans!
